Hello!

Welcome to my blog. This is a blog meant for younger people, although adults can get something from it as well. This site is for people who are actually trying to improve themselves. This isn't about impressing parents, your boss, or friends. This website is about you, being your best self, and the self you want to be.

New Abundance Thinking

Hey guys.

So it's been a few days since my last post. The reason for this is that the 30 minutes of visualizing wasn't working for me. I don't know why, but it was extremely hard to sit still for 30 minutes visualizing the same scenarios. I decided I was going to have to find another way to get into the Abundance mindset. I found a method from Abraham Hicks called 17 seconds.

Basically, you keep one thought or vibration in mind. So if I want to have abundance in money, that'll be the base thought. From there, I branch out into other related thoughts, and every 17 seconds, I'll have a thought that's of a higher vibration than the previous thought. You're supposed to do this for at least 68 seconds, but it's very easy to go on for quite a long time.

It's been very easy to do so far, and I'm looking forward to doing it over the next 30 days.

Abundance Mindset - Day 2

For some reason, it's really hard for me to just think for 20 minutes straight. I've been having problems with my mind wandering during my visualizations, and it makes it really hard to concentrate. It's frustrating, because for this to work, I really need to focus on the feelings of abundance, and you can only do that if you concentrate. I guess I just need some more practice.

I didn't go out and look for any jobs yesterday, because I didn't want to. I just didn't feel like going out and feeling out applications. Who knows if I ever will. However, my intention of furthering my path towards abundance manifested! I was at my friends house, and he's a co-manager at a local store. He said he could probably get me a job there pretty easily. That's exciting, because I wasn't even trying to get a job, other than setting my intention.

Abundance Mindset - Day 1

So today was my first day of setting aside 20 minutes to visualize abundance. It was actually harder than I expected. I usually don't put a time limit on meditation or visualizing, so time seems to go a lot slower than normal. It's okay, though, as I plan to plow through no matter what happens. If all that is necessary to start the journey to abundance is 20 minutes of visualization every day, I can easily find time to do that.

On top of this, I'm trying to visualize abundance whenever I have nothing on my mind. It's tough to get in the perfect mode, but I'll get better at it. Nothing really manifested today, which is expected. On top of this, I've been reading some books on abundance. I found a book called the Science of Getting Rich, and it's got some really good stuff in it. I'll be applying some of the techniques to my visualization.

Tomorrow I may go job hunting. Not because I want a job, but I need some money to start coming in now. Tomorrow I'll set the intention to further my path towards abundance, and see where it leads me. The goal is NOT to get a job, but if I do, that's cool. The goal is to get some insight on abundance! I find when I let the intention be a bit more broad, it's easier to see the result.

30 days of Abundance Visualization

So, I'm sick of letting other people govern my life. I thought I'd done away with all of that, but it turns out there's still one huge mental block. Money. I don't have too much money right now, (okay, I'm broke) and because of that, I need to rely on other people. This has to stop. I know right now I have a scarcity mindset, and that's creating all the problems I have. So I'm going to do a 30 day experiment with visualizing an abundance mindset.

Basically, this involves visualizing 20 minutes a day on how I would feel if I was more abundant. I basically imagine what I would do if I had unlimited amounts of money or whatever, but more importantly, how I would feel. The idea is that after all these visualizations, it becomes your dominant thought process. Because of this, opportunities start coming your way for true abundance. I'm going to blog about this experiment everyday for the first few days, mainly so I don't stop doing this. Wish me luck!

Something Amazing

Do you ever read something, maybe on a blog, that someone has done that's just insanely impressive? It's one of those things most people say "That's awesome that they did that, I could never do that." Well, today I decided something. Instead of thinking that, I'm going to think "That's awesome that they did that, now it's my turn."

I'm not quire sure what I'm going to do. I need to brainstorm it, but I'm sure something is going to come to me. All that will be required is a little bit of creativity and courage. It needs to be something I'm passionate about, or I'll never be able to do it. It also needs to be exciting so I can share it with everyone. Rest assured, when I do figure it out, I'll be posting it all over this blog.

Young Personal Development - 2010!

Hey! This my first post for this blog. I've been doing a ton of thinking and pondering lately, and I've come up with some good stuff. On top of this, I've been reading as much personal development information I can get my hands on. This means that I have quite a bit of information to share with everyone.

This blog is mainly for myself. I need to start really doing some experiments in order to improve. I've gotten to the point where I know a ton, but I haven't put it into action yet. I'm going to start doing that now, and I'll use this blog as a journal of sorts. I start my second semester at the University on Monday, so I'll have plenty of time to try some experiments.

I'll post on this blog as often as I have something interesting to share. I hope you guys can learn something from my experiments!
